Today is the day to get the limited edition pins for Apple’s Global Close Your Rings Day


Hosted by Apple to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Apple Watch Close Global Ring Day We will distribute special edition pins at Apple Stores around the world. If you’re there Apple Watch UsersThis celebration only applies to today, April 24th, so move early to close these activity rings. Pins are only available while supply continues.

The three activity rings on the Apple Watch are: Stand (blue), Movement (red), and Movement (green). They can be customized to suit each person’s lifestyle. The stand shows how many times you have been standing and moving for at least one minute per hour during the day, but the movement shows how many active calories you burn. Exercises track how much active you have done.

How to get limited edition Apple pins

Close all three activity rings on April 24th to win a limited edition award for animation badges that can be used with 10 animated stickers and messages. You can also get a limited edition pin inspired by the Global Close Your Rings Day Award at Apple Store Locations around the world. Again, that’s only for the duration of supply, so if you need pins, you might want to visit a local shop earlier in the day. If within walking distance you can walk there to close the activity ring.

With the announcement of Global Close Your Rings Day, Apple shared insights from the Apple Heart and Movement Study. Using data contributed by more than 140,000 participants, Apple determined that most people who close their activities are 48% less likely to experience them. Low quality of sleep73% are less likely to experience an increase in resting heart rate levels and 57% less likely to report an increase in stress measured on a perceived stress scale. This data was consistent across both males and females and across all age groups. The Apple Heart and Movement research was conducted in collaboration with the American Heart Association and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. This includes more than 200,000 participants across the United States.
