Turning Point USA Chapter President Page Neumann filmed the incident Monday at the University of Texas in Dallas. The footage shows the suspect identified by authorities as 20-year-old Liam Tam Nuguen, who is grabbed by a cameraman before swinging the bike lock.

Nuguen, also identified by the name Alyssa, was arrested and booked at Colin County Jail on the same day.

According to the Dallas Observer, the suspect was charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with one more count of trying to steal a weapon from an officer and one count of assault by a peace officer.

Turning Point USA posted a video of the incident on X, writing that the attacker “stripped Page on the head with a metal bike lock and attacked her with enough strength to crush the phone.”

Another student, Grace, destroyed the phone in the incident, according to the student organization.

Conservatives also said she did nothing to cause the incident, claiming she told him “Zero’s words” before the attacks took place.

“I was just talking to my officers like I do every week,” Neumann said. “I said Zero to him and he started attacking me. He shook the lock on his bike. It hit our table, our phone was destroyed and my head was seriously injured.”

Neumann’s head still hurts from the incident, she said, and she plans to see the doctor about the injury soon.
