Trainer Abel Sanchez predicts Manny Pacquiao’s victory over Rolando Rory Romero: Outbox & Experienski

Trainer Abel Sanchez says 46-year-old Manny Pacquiao will beat WBA welterweight champion Roryes “Rory” Romero if the contest takes place next time. Sanchez believes Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs) will outline Romero (17-2, 13 KOS), which will confuse him.

Pacquiao Outlines Romero

Like many fans, Abel believes that Pacquiao, 46, can defeat fighters of this era. He gives his opinion based solely on the Battle of Barrios.

Barrios showed his limits in his final battle with traveler Abel Ramos when he was given a decision. Mario was promoted to the WBC title outside the ring in 2024. In his two fights as champions, he had a pair of draws against Ramos and Pacquiao.

Rolly is far from a great fighter, and could lose to many of the top 10 candidates in the 147 pound division. But he’s still more than enough to knock out Pacquiao or beat him badly. He would not have been able to hold back like Barrios.

Garcia’s stagnation was discussed

“Unless Barrios is completely changed and pushes Manny a little harder, I think it’s going to be a more exciting battle than the Barrios battle,” Sanchez said of his belief that Rory would have a more exciting battle to fight Pacquiao than the Barrios battle.

Pacquiao has to eat a lot of hard punches from Rory, and it’s difficult for him to do it without falling apart at some point. Manny appeared to be beaten around his face against Barrios, and he wasn’t carrying his shots like Rory would.
