Tristan Thompson responds to the lack of the Cavaliers star in the class, suggestion of Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic
on wednesday, Toronto Raptors Coach Dako Rajakovic described veteran Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson as a “no class” player after the Cavs’ 131-108 defeated the Raptors.
Rajakovic also proposed Thompson’s actions He showed a lack of respect.
“I don’t think what Tristan did was class or rude,” Rajakovic said at a post-match press conference. “I’m certainly not going to support that. I love my team standing up for themselves. It wasn’t a class.”
Rajakovic was troubled by the slams in Thompson’s hands in the final seconds of the game.

Thompson took him to social media on Thursday to share his reaction to Rajakovic’s remarks. Thompson claimed that the Raptors were engaged in “full court presses” even though Toronto had double digits away in the second half of the game.

Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson said he didn’t understand Thompson’s thought process at the time, but he didn’t believe there was “bad intentions” behind the dunk.

Thompson, originally from Canada, scored four points in four minutes. He averages 1.7 points and three rebounds per game in 28 games this season.
