“I’m very pleased to report that I had arranged with the Secretary of State. The president said representatives from Rwanda and Congo will come to Washington on Monday to sign the document.

According to the Nobel Prize website, to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, a person must be a “qualified nominator.” This includes national governments, heads of state, previous recipients, and members of certain international organizations.
The nomination process is confidential and entries are scheduled for January 31, so the 2026 appointment will be made.
