Trump calls a Secret Service agent who is allegedly smuggling his wife’s case into “Strange Tale”

president Donald Trump Once the Secret Service began investigating the incident, it was cooked in a “Strange Tale,” which stemmed from reports that Secret Service agents attempted to smuggle their wife into a Secret Service freight plane accompanying the president on a trip to Scotland.
Trump told reporters he had just heard of alleged incidents that he labeled as “a strange deal,” and told the agency was handling the matter.
“I don’t know, that’s odd. I heard it just two minutes ago. I think Sean is taking care of it… is that serious?” Trump told Air Force reporters Tuesday, appearing to refer to Secret Service Director Sean Curran.

“I don’t want to get involved, that’s weird,” Trump said.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital on whether Trump was explained about the issue or the investigation.

“The Secret Service in the US is conducting a personnel investigation after an employee attempts to invite a spouse (a member of the US Air Force) to a mission support flight,” a Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement Tuesday to Fox News Digital.

“Airplanes run by the US Air Force were being used by the Secret Service to transport personnel and equipment,” the spokesman said. “Before departing overseas, employees were advised by their supervisors that such behavior was prohibited, and then their spouses were prevented from boarding the plane. No secret service guardians were on board and there was no impact on overseas protection operations.”

In that incident, 20-year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks fired eight bullets from the rooftop with a Trump during a campaign rally. A bullet grazes Trump’s ears, and the gunman kills a 50-year-old firefighter, father and husband Corey Comperatore.

Another man was also arrested and accused of attempting to assassinate Trump at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida several months later.
Both cases are under investigation, and the bipartisan house task force that investigated the Pennsylvania attack determined that the episode was “preventable” and that various mistakes were not isolated cases.

Since these episodes, Secret Services has implemented numerous changes to its agents to enhance its security practices.
Specific measures adopted include expanding drone use for surveillance purposes and overhauling interoperability between radio communications networks and Secret Service personnel, as well as state and local law enforcement officers.
