Senator Ron Wyden, d-ore.ordered President Donald Trump’s Social Security Admin candidate Frank Vignano to stop Elon Musk’s Government Efficiency (DOGE) and its cost-cutting measures during a confirmation hearing on Tuesday.
“Stop it!” cried a ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, interrupting the candidate’s response to his question.
“If you’ve been confirmed, do you lock the Doge? social security Stop exposing the database and millions of Americans who can potentially get damaged? ”

Trump’s choice to lead The Social Security Agency (SSA) told Wyden: “I spent my career at the largest institution on my career (personally identifiable information (PII)). I think it’s most important that PII is protected.
Frustrated by this response, Wyden pushed the question multiple times, saying that even asking for it in writing from Vignano, he didn’t know what it meant to lock the Dodge.

Wyden also issued a statement from the person he described as the SSA whistleblower, accusing the candidate of being involved in DOGE’s discussions regarding the operation, personnel and management of the SSA.
“The whistleblower statement states that the candidate insisted on personal approval of some important employment at the agency,” he argued.
He also said that whistleblowers detail the “frequently getting briefings” of Vignano.

Wyden added that the whistleblower “intrude in personally and intervened in order to set up the agency the main doge officials who masterminded this shipwreck that we are dealing with today.”
Vignano denied the allegations. “I’ve never spoken,” said Social Security Commissioner Leland Dudeck.
He admitted to speaking with SSA’s Chief Information Officer Mike Russo, but the candidate said, “I know Mike Russo. He was the CIO of Shift. And he was the CIO of Mark Heard. He had known him for 20 years.

The White House declined to comment on Fox News Digital.
