Turki Alalshikh announces Abdullah Mason Vs Samnoki in the free WBO lightweight title with massive November Riyadh season undercard

Turki Alalshikh announced today with X that Abdullah Mason will face Samno King with the free WBO lightweight title at the “Massive Riyadh Season” event later this November. That battle becomes an undercard.

Turki’s November Card

  • David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde – Main Event
  • Brian Norman Jr. vs. Devin Haney – Co-specialisation
  • Abdullah Mason vs. Sam Nok

Fans are happy with the card. The only problem they have is the order of the cards. WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Benavidez’s battle with the yard looks like a mismatch, so fans are not excited about it. People would have rather watched Benavides (30-0, 24 Kos) fight a rematch with David Morell rather than defending Veteran Jarrdo (27-3, 24 Kos).

People are more interested in the conflict between WBO welterweight champion Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 Kos) and Haney. That fight promises to be competitive as long as it lasts.

The former two-division world champion (32-0, 15 KOs) proves his points after his performance at the Times Square event in New York City last May, and how he was dumped by fans. He knows he has to make his fans forget that he fought Jose Ramirez at the event.

Mason vs. Noaki’s title match

#1 Abdullah Mason (19-0, 17 Kos) and #2 Sam Noakes (17-0, 15 Kos) fight for the vacant WBO lightweight title that was stripped of the fight last June from champion Keyshawn Davis. Southpaw Mason, 21, will likely be a favorite for Noakes. Noakes has fought at the British level throughout his six-year career, so that’s not a great battle.
