Twist and Element Biosciences extend agreements for a sequence of workflow solutions

Twist Bioscience Corporation (NASDAQ: TWST)’s library prep and target enrichment workflows have been integrated with Element’s Aviti™ devices and Trinity™ flow cells. Twist will become the sole supplier of the new Trinity kit for the Aviti platform as a result of the transaction. Both companies will collaborate on commercial efforts to increase customer access to high-performance NGS technology.

The extended relationship is based on past successes, including Twist Bioscience Corporation (NASDAQ: TWST)’s Trinity Solution for 1 hour quick hybridization. According to Twist CEO Emily Leproust, the partnership improves clinical research workflows by streamlining hybrid capture on both Agio, genomics and sequencers.

Element Biosciences CEO Molly, he emphasized that the combination of Twist Bioscience Corporation (NASDAQ: TWST)’s preparation capabilities and focused sequences of Trinity are essential to advance science. This partnership provides researchers with platform flexibility, uniformity and quality by extending NGS capabilities beyond the Exome sequence.
