Two alpha jets collide into the air and crash into the ground in a fiery explosion

The video shows the seven aircraft spinning in unison, emitting colored smoke, but at least two jets collide with each other.
The two jets spiral towards the ground, and the crew can quickly see them eject and activate the parachute. The jet will hit the ground and ignite with a fiery plume.
“In Sandigier’s BA 113, two Patroille de France alphajets collided during a seven-plane training flight,” reads X’s post. “Three pilots, including one passenger, can be discharged in time and are safe. No casualties will report in the collision zone at this stage.”

French military minister Sebastian Lecorne also confirmed the incident and wrote to X that emergency services had responded to the scene.
“Slightly injured, they were cared for,” he wrote. “Thinking for the pilots of Patroille de France thanks to mobilized emergency services.”

The PAF was founded in 1953 and is considered a famous aerobatic unit famous for displays during the Bastille Day Parade, according to French news outlet Le Parisien. The PAF consists of carefully selected fighter pilots, and accidents are rare in units.
