Typhur Dome 2 Review (2025): Fast and Bulb

With Typhur you can control this A refined toaster oven like Breville: Through settings such as “grill” and “baked” that modulate both the fan speed and the primary heat source. The grill setting combines the crispness of the air fryer with heat directly from the bottom of the basket. This means that you can even brown your chicken legs at 450 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly apply them, leading to delicious, crispy skin. This is also a much lower fan setting to avoid drying out the crust and batter, but to avoid the oven drying out, although the oven does pizza and pancakes and heats each from underneath.

This says that Typhur will be overly easy to parse the settings, In a recent blog post That still requires a little analysis. They’ll love it when your device or app provides an indicator that indicates which burners are most active and an indicator that indicates the speed of the fan for each setting. But for now, the following is a handy chart explaining the various cooking modes:

Generally, the higher the fan speed, the more browns and crisps on the surface are expected as the air travels across the surface and steals moisture. That said, too many fans can dry out your food over time.

However, unless you pair it with your phone, it will not be fully used from Dome 2. Many features are not accessible through the eight button control panel on the device itself. The easiest bonus of this app is the 48 deep menu of recipes specially designed for Dome 2. These range from simple recommendations for bacon, chicken legs or asparagus to fryer cakes and cookies and chicken cordon blue.

Once you have selected your recipe, you can fine-tune both the temperature and time based on the amount of food you added and the thickness of the bacon sliced. Next, click (Start) and your device settings will be paired with the app recipe. As a safety measure, you must physically press START on the device.

However, many useful features are APPs, such as dehydration, baking, and roasting. If Wi-Fi is down, there is no baking or staking! (Oddly, the wing and bacon presets are buttons on the device that are most similar to the baking feature.)

The app only has a self-clean function that heats the oven at high temperatures and burns the Gunking from the heating elements. The basket and griddle grid are coated with ceramic non-sticks without PFAS and PTFE, making it extremely easy to wipe, but self-cleaning for monthly use is a good backup for your oven interior.

Price aside, this Typhur isn’t cheap, but relying on apps is one of the major fixed points of an otherwise great device. (I also want more visibility of the fan speed and primary burner) I, for some reason, Google TV Bricks without remote or phone apps. But I still want to be able to bake cookies when my phone dies. Maybe I need to stop worrying and learn to love a smart kitchen.
