UFC star John Jones was accused of leaving the crash scene before resigning

A few days before he was surprised to see that he was retiring. UFC Sturgeon “Bones” Jones was accused of leaving the scene of the car accident in February.

It is unclear why the criminal charges were filed four months after the accident, but it was filed last Tuesday in Bernarillo County Metropolitan Court, with Jones holding a bond hearing scheduled for July 24th. The charges are a misdemeanor in New Mexico.

The complaint focused on authorities responding to a crash where a drunk woman, who was not wearing clothes under her waist, was found in the passenger seat of the vehicle. She claims Jones is driving the car and he escapes from the scene. Albuquerque Journal.

The woman told the police It reminded me that Jones was consuming alcohol and mushrooms at home, and that she needed to change clothes. The next thing she remembered was being at the scene of a vehicle crash.

The man believed to be Jones was allegedly spoken by a police aide when the woman called him from the scene. The man on the phone did not answer questions about his identity.

In the conversation, the complaint alleges that the man believed to be Jones “appears to be terribly drunk and makes a statement implying his ability to employ deadly forces through third parties.”

Jones was interviewed a few days after the crash, and he allegedly confirmed that the woman left his house drunk and called him after crash.

Jones has dealt with legal issues throughout his UFC career. This is one of the best performances of all time.

UFC CEO Dana White Jones announced on Saturday that he had informed them that he would be retiring on Friday, resulting in abandoning the incontroversial heavyweight championship belt to Tom Aspinel.

“John Jones called us last night and retired,” White said in Azerbaijan. “John Jones has officially retired.”

Jones confirmed his retirement in his own post on social media.

“This decision comes after many reflections. I would like to express my deep gratitude for the journey I have gone through over the years,” he wrote to X.

Jones went 28-1 in his UFC career. His final fight was TKO’s victory at Stipe Miocic in the third round at UFC 309 in November.
