“The UFL is aware of the incident that took place last night at the end of the St. Louis Battlehawks match between Michigan Panthers vs. St. Louis. League officials are currently investigating the issue,” the league said in a statement.
Naqua’s teammate Adonis Alexander was seen with him during the conflict but did not appear to be involved. The game took place at the Dome of America in St. Louis. The Panthers lost to the Battle Hawks, 32-27.

Samson Naqua performed at FBS level at universities in Utah and BYU. He spent four years at UTES, catching 82 passes for 1,015 yards in 45 games and 11 touchdowns. He transferred to BYU for the 2021 season, earning 21 catches for 329 yards and three touchdowns.
He tried to create the final roster for the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints, but failed. He was in his second stint with the Panthers and also played for the Pittsburgh Mawlers.
