UFL News: Samson Naqua was suspended after slaps fans after game

The United Football League was Tuesday in the Panthers Wide Receiver Samson Naqua, Michigan. Los Angeles Rams Star Puka Nacua was stopped without paying for one game after he began an argument with fans.

The video went viral over the weekend, with Naqua slapping St. Louis Battle Hawks fans in the face following a Panthers game on the road at the Americans Center’s dome.

Also, as part of the suspension, the UFL has announced that Samson has agreed to attend a community service event arranged by the league.

It remains unclear what fans said to Nakua, which leads to a physical response. The league said it is investigating the situation in which the video was released.

Naqua’s teammate Adonis Alexander was also with him during the argument, but he seemed not to be involved. Instead, after Nakua slapped him, he simply pointed at the fans and they walked off the field together.

Naqua played for Utah and BYU during his college career. He caught 82 passes for 1,015 yards in 45 games at UTES and 11 touchdowns before transferring to BYU for the 2021 season.

There, Nacua was carried with 21 catches for 329 yards and three scores.

After his college career, Nacua was about to plunge into the NFL roster, Indianapolis Colts And the saint of New Orleans, but never stuck. He played for the Pittsburgh Maurers in the UFL before joining the Panthers in 2024.
