Ukraine puts pressure on Russia with underwater strike at Crimean Bridge

Large underwater blast targeting bridge links Russia According to Ukrainian Security Services (SBU), Crimea left in a “emergency” on Tuesday.

SBU said about 2,500 pounds of underwater explosives exploded along the Karch Bridge. The footage showed a blast centered on one of the bridge’s pillars, followed by people investigating the damage on the bridge.

According to the SBU, Malyuk oversaw the operation and required months of planning.
“The bridge is in a state of emergency,” he declared.

According to the Associated Press, traffic across the Kerch Bridge was three hours late this morning.
The bridge reportedly reopened before it was closed twice.
The SBU said civilians were not injured in the blast.

“We attacked before Crimea Bridge Twice in 2022 and 2023. So today we have already continued this tradition underwater,” Malik said.
Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelenki said that on Tuesday Russia has launched a “savage strike” It is a city in northeastern Ukraine, and “directly targets cities and their ordinary streets with rocket artillery.”
“Rescue operations are currently underway. Many people are injured. So far, three have been confirmed dead,” Zelenskyy said. “My patriot dol’s opinion goes out to their families and loved ones. All emergency services are engaged to support all affected.”

Zelenskyy added that one shell is a DUD, but “drilled a hole in the wall of a regular apartment on the ninth floor” and “that’s all you need to know about Russia’s so-called “desire” to end this war.”
