Ukraine says North Korean troops have returned to the forefront
A spokesperson said it is likely that he was pulled out after suffering a combat loss.
The spokesman added that he only mentions the area where his troops are fighting, without giving details on how long the frontline is.
Recent reports stemming from South Korea’s intelligence reporting agency suggest that North Korean soldiers are not prepared for modern warfare, particularly vulnerable to Ukrainian drones.
Military experts say reports of North Korean casualties are unsustainable if they continue at this rate.
The soldiers were deployed after Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Collier leader Kim Jong had not deepened bilateral relations, including signing the Security and Defense Treaty.
Currently, Pyongyang’s support for Moscow continues to cover a large amount of ammunition and weapons.
The Ukrainian forces launched a lightning strike at Kursk six months ago, taking over 1,000 square kilometers (386 square miles) of Russian territory.
Since then, Russian troops have been able to seize a significant portion of the area.
However, both Ukrainian and Russian military bloggers have reported new pushes by Kursk’s Ukrainian forces over the past two days.
Russian troops say the attacks were repelled, but some reports suggest that Ukrainians seized more Russian territory. These have not been independently verified.
