Virus truck drivers face five years to help with anti-ice demonstrations

The man who went viral after being captured on live television is allegedly dropped a pickup truck full of facial shields for use by protesters amid demonstrations and riots in Los Angeles last month.
Alejandro Orellana, 29, is charged with conspiracy to support him. Abet Civil Disorders.

Federal prosecutors said Orelana met with others on June 9 to load a Ford F-150 pickup truck with UVEX brand bionic face shields, masks, water bottles and other items in a raging anti-ice protest in Los Angeles.
He then drove the truck to the crowd of protesters and handed out the items. Ministry of Justice I said.
“We have made it our number one priority to identify, find and arrest people involved in organizing, supporting, funding or promoting these riots,” Bill Essay told Fox News at the time of Orelana’s arrest.

“They seem well organized, coordinated and well-funded, so I want to understand who these people are and where this organization comes from.

Locals have been charged with more than 40 people last month with crimes stemming from violent riots against US immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) efforts.
