Vivobarefoot’s Sensus Shoes are like foot gloves

Do you love them? I hate them, Barefoot shoes It’s polarized. But they are becoming big companies, both for fashion (the subject I’m on, and certainly not professionals). Health and Wellness. This is a relatively recent development. Before 2019, I did what most of us do and because of what it is. Modern shoe company Sell us. But I had a long history of going barefoot, as I grew up on the beach.

Like most people who started looking at barefoot shoes, I began to feel pain in my feet. As I walked, my heels began to hurt. Plantar fasciitis is a problem, and traditional wisdom is to wear shoes more Padding. However, I started reading about people who have cured various foot problems Go barefootor at least towards the “zero drop” shoes, the shoe bed is flat from toe to heels. My wife also moved to barefoot shoes after foot surgery failed to resolve foot problems, but she has not had any problems since.

At least many people seem to be exposed to barefoot shoes. At least it’s sandals. Several fashion brands like Miu Miu have recently been released Expensive version Xero Genesis Paracord Sandals.

The idea behind barefoot shoes is to eliminate arch support and allow the front of the shoe to spread out to allow the toes to move the way the feet evolve. In 2020, I wrote it My experience with Xero’s Z-Trailsand then quickly moved to the minimalist Z-Trake. I’m still wearing it Z-TREKS today.

barefoot shoes– Not sandals – it’s hard to find. Vibram 5 finger The iconic barefoot shoes, but they look a bit goofy. For a long time, my solution was to spend as much time as possible in the climate where Z-Treks were appropriate. I live in an RV I did because the weather allowed me to go where it suited my clothes. In the end, the weather will catch up with you. It’s also good to have at least one shoe you love.

At the end of last year, Vivobarefoot released the Sensus Shoe. Vivobarefoot was founded in 2010 by Galahad and Asher Clark (Yes, those Clarks), and it specializes in ultra-thin shoes that you can feel the ground. What quickly popped out at me about Sensus was the low 3mm sole. Vivobarefoot sent me a pair to test it out and they quickly became my favorite shoes (funny, um, um, style my daughter describes in “Elfin”).

Luckily, I don’t care how they look so much as I care about how they feel. There is no insole, so there is very little cushioning and there is enough outsole to save you from sharp objects on the ground.

These are very well-made, durable shoes. The construction is excellent, and the stitching on the bottom was something that bothered me when I first saw it, but there were no signs of wear and it was lifted well for almost a year (the sole can also be replaced).

This is where it has a strange look. The side stitching that attaches the top to the outsole not only makes its sweet Elphin styling, but also increases the range of foot movement when walking.
