Waiting for Nottingham Forest Awoniyi concussion test

Nottingham Forest is waiting for Tai Chi’s concussion check results to determine if the striker can play against Fulham this weekend.

Awoniyi broke his nose on a challenge with Exeter goalkeeper Joe Whitworth Tuesday night and was treated for more than 10 minutes on the St James Park field before leaving on a stretcher.

He appeared to celebrate with his teammates following the match after the FA Cup fourth round penalty shootout victory in the tie, but his availability on Saturday was tested to have him concussion It depends on whether you confirm that you suffered.

If the outcome determines he has done, he will be ruled out for 12 days following protocols and will not return to his old days until his match against Newcastle on February 23rd.

Nuno Espirito Santo of Forest Boss said: I don’t know if he will become available (in the case of Fulham).

“He looks okay. He smiled, he feels pain, but in these situations you need to be careful. Proper protocols are available for two or three days to calm down, is he available? I’ll check if that’s the case.”

Hudson-Odoi is set to return

Forest can obtain Winger Column Hudson Odoi at Craven Cottage following the gro radius issue.

Nuno added: “He’s progressing. He joined the group yesterday and today. He’s part of the session and we still need to rate a lot of players for him and knock.

“I’m positive (he’s going to fight against Fulham to join the team), but we need to make sure he’s 100%. Let’s wait for tomorrow.”

Forest has been overloaded this season. They sit third in the Premier League, three points behind second-place Arsenal. Some keep the key players fit, and Nuno says it’s his job to find the answer when an injury occurs.

He said: “There’s no need to think about when it doesn’t happen (an injury). When it happens, we have to find a solution. That’s what’s important to us.

“There’s a solution when it comes to team depth. If you can keep everyone healthy until the end of the season and compete in both competitions until the end, that’s better. It won’t work with “IFS.” The important thing is that we have a balanced team. ”
