Wardlee Vs. Miller Official – Proper scrap at Portman Road!

This has a bit of it all: the glory of his hometown, the sound of heavyweights, and two big young people who are not confused. Fabio Wardley has finally landed the battle for homecoming, where he has been slamming about from day one. He drags Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller into Ipswich with a provisional WBA World Heavyweight Strap in the line.

Wardlee: The tractor boy turned a wrecking ball

Fabio is undefeated at 19 and has 17 knockouts. Not shy in the hands. Last time, he straightened out Fraser Clark in one round like a pub brawl, brushing their crazy charms from the previous year. This year’s battle. He’s already cleaned up a decent chunk of the domestic scene – Gorman, Adeley, you give it a name – collecting sticker-like belts along the way.

Now he’s top ranked in the WBA and smells world title shots like a dog after bacon. This Portman Road Knight? That’s personal. His words:

“I’m not just shaking waves at the crowd. I’m going to war here. And trust me, if I have to, I’ll go deep – blood, sweat, anything. This is everything to me.”

Big Baby’s Back – And as loud as ever

Jarrell Miller may be 36 years old, but he still has a chin made of bricks and a man’s mouth that had 10 Red Bulls before breakfast. He nearly nicked the decision against Andy Lewis last year after bullying Lucas Brown and doing something decent against DuBois until his feet were on the way.

Spencer Brown, who backs up the mirror like his father in the Sunday League, thinks:

“If he doesn’t think he’s going to take Fabio, we won’t be on the plane. Wardley is good, but he’s trying to find something he’s chewing more than you can swallow.”

Portman Road will turn into a Warzone

This isn’t just a boxing night. That’s Ipswich’s answer to Glastonbury, but instead of a guitar, there are gloves and gum shields. Frank Warren, who ultimately made this crazy idea come true, says it best:

“Fabio has been rattling about this battle on Portman Road since we first signed him. He has what he wanted, but now he has to deliver, and the size of the fridge with Miller’s fist.”

Ipswichtown Chairman Mark Ashton was also bustling:

“We’ve talked about this. It’s finally happening. Fabio is one of us, and this is a downward night in club history…if he wins.”

Scrap: June 7th – Dazn’s Got It, Behind the Town

The show is called Running towards adversitythis is a polite way to say, “Yeah, this is going to be rough.” Dazn streams lots and is live exclusive, and thinks this could be a groundbreaking moment for Wardley. Michael Ridout of Dazn summed it up nicely:

“Fabio is on fire, Miller will never be silent. This is the perfect Terry.”

Tickets for Ipswich Town Season Ticket holders will drop on April 7th. General sales will be a hit on April 9th.
