Where is Marcus Rashford next? PSG, Barcelona, Liverpool…?
Marcus Rashford’s future is once again the subject of discussion with England International, assessing his options.
Rashford scored at Aston Villa last night. And his representatives were busy this morning giving an overview of what their clients were looking for in the summer.
Champions League clubs are a must, but he is not keen on moving to London.
Although Rashford didn’t think there would be a shortage of suitors given him, it narrowed the field significantly. The Renaissance at Villa has now scored four times and added six assists in 17 games.
More importantly, he plays with a newfound enthusiasm after appearing to have experienced a move during his final months at Manchester United.
Rashford’s loan agreement at Villa Park expires at the end of the season, and the villa has the option to make the move permanent, but that clearly requires will on the part of the player.
With the Unai Emery man finishing in the top five and struggling to return to the Champions League, the 27-year-old may feel he has a better option.
So where will Rashford play next season?
Manchester United
Rashford has made 426 appearances for United and scored 138 goals, but it seems unlikely that there will be a way to return to Reuben Amorim’s plan.
The Portuguese were critical of the striker’s attitude, despite United’s struggle, before banishing him from his first team photo.
A radical rethinking from the club and players is necessary for all sorts of settlements. There is a high chance that money will be placed to buy the 9th in the Secnario where Rashford is on sale and the Victor Gujokoles or Victor Osimhen mold.
Aston Villa
The villa is still hunting, but it may depend on whether they qualify for the Champions League.
Rashford is certainly welcomed to the fold at Villa Park, and the club is definitely on an upward trajectory below Emery.
If they miss a top five finish, will the villa commit to the critical spending needed to permanently sign the player?

Paris Saint-Germain
PSG is a longtime admirer of Rashford, and the player’s physical profile (Pacey, Athletic, and technically talented) certainly fits Luis Enrique’s philosophy.
The question is, do they need him? Signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Naples in January means they already have four great offensive players.
The Rashford move is probably unlikely unless one of its quartets has gone ahead.
Barcelona
Another club that has long been interested in Rashford.
The Barca problem is their financial position and is unlikely to be alleviated enough to sanction players’ moves reportedly lacking at £400,000 a week.
The battle over Daniormo and Povictor registration has been hurt this season, and it’s unlikely that Rashford would want to face something similar.
AC Milan
Rossonelli was interested in Rashford in January, but may not have run in the summer after a gloomy season where it is very unlikely to lead to Champions League football.
Milan is the ninth in the Serie A and is a seemingly undirected club.
It seems stretch to think that Rashford would represent a switch to Sanshiro (unless Inter makes a surprise move)!
Liverpool
It’s something other than a starter, right?
Probably not. Mohamed Sarah has signed a new contract, but Liverpool may be on the market for new advancements to end the unfortunate spell of Darwin Nunes.
Their first choice may be Newcastle’s Alexander Isaac, but Tyneside has little desire to sell star players. A cheap option is Rashford, available for a fee in the £40 million region.
Whether the player is willing to ruin his united legacy and switch to Anfield is another matter, but it makes sense from a purely football perspective.
