White House reporters speak out about allegations of covering up Biden’s mental decline

A White House reporter who covered the Biden administration talks about whether Westwing staff were fooled into thinking that they were trying to hide the truth from Americans, thinking that the president was in office mentally.

CNN JKTapper And Axios reporter Alex Thompson’s “The Original Crime: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again” was released Tuesday, creating a lot of chatter among the White House press squad, bringing the issue back to the forefront. Book details Joe BidenHis mental vision during his tenure has accused the Biden White House of lying to reporters and voters.

Peter Doocy, senior White House correspondent at Fox News, responded by posting multiple videos to X to question Biden and the White House about the then-president’s cognitive decline. Other White House reporters found it strange that CNN was tied to the book, but some had strong feelings about whether there was really “concealment.”

One White House reporter really believes the White House clearly tried to hide the truth from anyone.

“It was a cover-up of every definition, but it was a strange thing that the Biden team would do. At the end of the day there’s so much that White House staff can do to protect them from exposure to the press and the public. Fox News Digital.

The reporter said the private aspect includes “secret strategies and decision-making,” but featured “Brazen Lies,” including Biden’s videos, which appear to be confused as public strategies are being chalked up as “cheap fakes.”

If Doucy and a handful of other bold reporters dare to ask about the president’s inauguration, spokesman Karin Jean Pierre has been closed regularly.

“The subject, which was very rude and fringe-like denunciation to ask about the time, ultimately emerged as President Biden’s crucial issue,” a White House reporter said.

A second White House reporter reiterated the thoughts of “Daily Show” host John Stewart on Monday Blast CNN To promote “I should have told you for free a book that should have mercilessly conveyed a book about the news.”

“The sources are always keen to talk after the facts, but CNN is a heavy hitter who is heavy enough to challenge the White House when decline occurs — it’s not a good look that has barely hurt the surface of the story Tupper is reporting on,” he told Fox News Digital.

“Late work is still worth half the credit,” they added.

The third White House reporter initially believed that 82-year-old Biden was simply aging or perhaps suffering from the side effects of COVID, so the media thought it was not negligence.

“You know, it’s one of them. The guy is getting older. He talks like an old man and becomes more pronounced over time,” the third White House reporter said of Biden.

“Personally, I noticed a dramatic difference between when he took office and when he started his second year. I suspected that it was because of the aftereffects of COVID and COVID. I think he had it twice. “I remember a very different Joe Biden in 2015, 2014. He was 10 years younger, so that makes sense.”

The third White House reporter “can’t get” the notion that the journalist could have been able to reveal the truth about his declining health at this point.

“How? How do you report it? If you’re a White House reporter, you’re responsible for explaining what happened that day. Something happens every day, like the White House,” they said.

“People aren’t going to check out medical supplies at all. They probably won’t tell you what he’s like in private or what he’s like in Wilmington. “Now, the Biden White House didn’t leak. So you didn’t, so if you want to chase that story, you’ll spend weeks on it. You might not get anything. In the meantime, you’re not doing anything else.”

That same White House reporter is “confusing” that Gene Pierre has taken so much heat away from Biden regularly claiming that he is suitable for office.

“As long as she says, ‘He’s more energetic than me,’ it was stupid and maybe she shouldn’t have said that. Meanwhile, she came out and said, “Ah, no, no, no, no, he should resign and it’s not realistic,” a White House reporter said.

“I mean, you can’t expect the Chief of Staff to say, ‘This guy can’t do his job,'” they said.

A third White House reporter is not convinced that Biden’s age has influenced his job performance, and considers many of his shortcomings to be merely “policy issues.”

“If he was younger, what would he have done differently? I don’t know,” they said. “You know, until you can show me that he did something bad because he wasn’t at work at the moment, I’ll take it with a grain of salt.”

Margaret Chadbourne covers the White House as Cheddar correspondent, has a seat in the briefing room and is a member of the WHCA. She believes the entire Biden saga has undermined trust in the media as Americans ask what was missed and why it was missed.

“Reporters told Fox News Digital if they’re probably covering Biden through the lens they should have, asking questions they should have, taking facts, putting them together, or if they were looking for more facts.

“Should they do more research?” Chadborn continued. “I think there’s a timeline that the media and reporters need to look into, not just Jake Tupper and Alex Thompson are writing books.”

Chadbourne, who has been covering Biden’s on and off since 2005, said he was always friendly and “interactions with voters have always been alive.” But once his legacy is defined, she believes there is rage among Americans about what people perceive as “misinformation about his health.”

“We need to see what we probably missed, not as media critics, but as journalists and political reporters,” Chadbourne said.
