WNBA All-Star Starter revealed that Kate Linklark faces an astonishing player vote

WNBA After it was revealed that Indiana Fever star Kate Linklerk and Minnesota Link leader Nafisa Collier will become captains of the year, they announced the remaining eight starters for the 2025 All-Star Game.

Clark finished second mostly among all players as fans votes make up 50% of the votes deciding on the starter. But that was the Dallas Wings rookie Page Bookers, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA draft earlier this year, taking the top spot after being second in the fan rank, fifth in the media rank and fourth in the player rank.
Atlanta’s dreamsOne of the WNBA All-Star starters, Allisha Gray ranked number one in media rank and player rank. Players like Skylar Diggins in Seattle, Sabrina Ionescu in New York, and Brittney Sykes in Washington outperformed Clark in terms of player rank.
Perhaps the main reason Clark’s peers rank her very low among security guards is that they have only played nine of Fever’s 16 games this season. Clark deals with injuries during his sophomore season.
Clark has been struggling recently, running only 13/47 from his 3-point territory in the last three games.
Still, Clark averages 18.2 points, 8.9 assists, five rebounds and 1.6 steels, exceeding 33.3 minutes this season. Phoenix Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas, selected by the league’s head coach, could be one of the 12 All-Star Game Reserves to be announced this Sunday, but there are more assists (9.3) per game, and touched on Hardwood in the 12th contest this season.
Clark received 1,293,526 votes from fans.

Clark has been crucial to the rise of the WNBA popularity since destroying rookie and league records last season, but there have been many controversial moments in the scope of the game with opponents.
A physical altercation broke out over the Connecticut sun this season, during which Clark crashed into the face and was forced to the ground during the play. Later in the game, Clark’s teammate Sophie Cunningham retaliated against Sunguard Jacee Sheldon in another brawl that led to discharge.
And, of course, Clark was the center of national sports conversation after instances like the Sun, Chicago Sky and others.
However, Clark and Collier will be drafting players for the All-Star team and know who can start with them on July 19th at Clark’s home Gainbridge Field House.

The results of the WNBA All-Star Game Draft include 12 reserve players when the head coach sends out the vote, but will be revealed on July 8th.
