YouTube TV reaches the New Deal to Keep Paramount Content

After warning that Paramount Content is about to disappear from Google’s paid TV service YouTube TV, the company announced late Saturday that it had reached a contract disrupting the availability of the channel.

Meanwhile, Paramount co-CEOS George Cheeks, Chris McCarthy and Brian Robbins said, “We choose to risk our entertainment experience at the cost of our consumers and don’t want to agree to reasonable terms that match the market.” An internal note was sent to the employee explaining the

“The reality is that you can’t have a successful video product without Paramount. This is one of the leading media families for watching television,” the CEO said.
