Rod Stewart Fans will have to wait a little longer for the opportunity to see rock legends live in concerts.
The iconic singer cancelled the next six performances due to his continued battle with the flu.
“As we continue to recover from the flu, we will need to cancel and reschedule the next six concerts in June,” Stewart wrote in a statement on Instagram.

“I’m sorry, but my friend. I’m ashamed to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our fans.”

“I’ll see you soon when I’m back on stage,” Stewart reassured his fans and signed his message, “Sir Rod.”

Stewart is scheduled to perform at Glastonbury later this month.

Earlier this week, Stewart cancelled his performance at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, citing the doctor’s order.
Stewart blamed the prolonged illness for cancellation.

He also cancelled the show during his Las Vegas residency due to health concerns.
“I am extremely sorry that I have to cancel my show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on June 5th,” Stewart shared online. “My doctor ordered a little more rest while I was recovering from the flu. I would like to thank you for your love and understanding.”
Last weekend, the “Maggie May” singer told fans he couldn’t play the role just hours before he was scheduled to be on stage.

“I’ll let you know I’m not feeling bad. My show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace is scheduled until June 10th,” Stewart wrote. “Tickets are valid for new dates.”

“This will be the end of a massive world tour for me, but I have no desire to retire,” he said in a statement on social media. “I love what I do and do what I love.
“I fit, have a hair head and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at a cheerful age of 79.”
