“Birth Leader”: Ohio Governor nominates former legendary college football coach to mid-Li

Tressel, 72, retired as president of Youngstown State University a year and a half ago. He has been working since 2014. Since then he has been involved in the workforce and economic development activities.
“With his extensive experience in the education field, Jim understands its importance in building Ohio’s workforce for tomorrow,” Steve Stever, president and CEO of Ohio’s Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement. Tressel’s nomination must be approved by the Ohio Senate and Ohio House, led by the Republican Supermajority.
