Auburn Tigers men’s basketball head coach Brue Pal spoke in support of the president Donald Trump On Wednesday, his administration continued to strengthen our chances of being involved in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
A skilled coach who has been outspoken in Israel’s support since Hamas’ October 2023 terrorist attacks addressed the issue during an appearance on Outkick’s “Don’t @ @ with Dan Dakic.”

He explained that he believes he has some interest in the United States, taking into account its history with Iran.

“We can talk back to 1982 with Lebanon and all the US Marines who were murdered in 1982. We can talk about the October 7th, when 45 Americans were killed.
“This has been going on since 1979 and is likely to be a safer place, a non-nuclear Iran. And if they don’t have the money to do what they’re doing, the world will be a safer place,” he added.
“When the Middle East becomes safer and stronger, look at what the dynamic nation of Israel is. Look at all the unicorns out there. Look at all the high tech and development. Look at all the wealth. China? It will become the United States as Donald Trump has led the way in which peace and prosperity for everyone in the region. ”

Speaking to reporters outside the White House on Wednesday, the president said he was uncommitted about possible military intervention and that military targeting Iran’s nuclear sites were attacking. It’s not completely ruled out.
“Yes, I might do that. I might not do that. I mean, no one knows what I’m trying to do. I can tell you this, Iran has a lot of trouble and they want to negotiate,” Trump said. “And I said, “Why didn’t you negotiate with me before all of this death and destruction? Why didn’t you go?” I said to people, “Did you not negotiate with me two weeks ago? It’s so sad to see this.”

Trump urged Iran to sign a nuclear deal, but talks scheduled for Sunday between the two were halted after Iran withdrew a few days ago. The Trump administration weighs that option, but Iran says that the US entering the conflict means “all-out war.”
