Chelsea’s Sam Kerr wiped out racially aggravated harassment

Chelsea forward Sam Kerr is found to have not committed racially aggravated harassment after calling the metropolitan police officer “silly and white.”

The ju apprentice at Kingston Crown Court reached a verdict regarding the incident that took place in Twickenham, southwest London on January 30, 2023.

Kerr, 31, claimed that she was “hospitable” by officers after being taken to the police station by taxi after a disagreement.

She admits to using the term “silly and white” towards Stephen Label on PC, but she denied that her statement constituted a racial crime.

Australian International presented her relief in court and gave her a thumbs up to her legal team before leaving with her fiance, Christie Mewyth.

The argument began after a taxi driver transported Carr and Mewi to the Twickenham Police Station.

The driver also claimed that one of the women had broken the rear window of the taxi.

Judge Peter Rodder noted that Kerr’s actions played a role in the legal process.

“I believe that her own actions have contributed greatly to the allegations,” he said.

“I don’t go behind the ju-decision verdict, but that has had a big impact on the cost issue.”

During the trial, Kerr regretted how she expressed herself, but “I still feel that the message is related.”

“He was accusing me of not being so I believed he was using his power and privilege on me.

“I will express that because of the power and privilege they had, they do not need to understand what we have just experienced and the fear we had for our lives. That was what I was saying.”

Now, Carr’s legal team has been revealed to have attempted to dismiss the case at a preliminary hearing, claiming that the Crown Prosecutor’s Office (CPS) mishandled the process.

Her attorney, Grace Forbes, accused the CPS of violating its own guidelines, and said that a “loophole” in the victim review scheme would be used to move the case forward a year after the alleged crime. He said it was justified.

During trial, PC Lovell was questioned about his statement regarding the case. Initially he did not mention that he was suffering from Kerr’s remarks, but in a second statement filed in December 2023, he said, “Shocked, upset, and (left) humiliated.” I feel it.”
