Colorado School District sues Trump administrators over fears of ice attacks on campus
Colorado’s largest public school district It is the first in the US to sues the Trump administration over the fear of an ice attack taking place on school grounds.

“DPS is being hampered by fulfilling its mission to provide education and life services to students refraining from attending DPS schools for fear of immigration enforcement measures that occur on the DPS school premises,” the Associated Press. According to the lawsuit.
The school system also claimed that attendance has been significantly reduced since the decision.

Denver Public Schools order staff to train staff on how to handle ice officers if they appear at school and refuse agent entry if there is no warrant signed by a judge.

The lawsuit said there were more than 90,000 students. Denver Public School System During the 2023-2024 academic year, approximately 4,000 people were immigrants.
Denver has seen massive population jumps in recent years as the city predicts about 43,000 people have arrived in the area from its southern border, the lawsuit says.
