Former NFL player, 74-year-old manager Dick Jauron dies
Dick Jauron, two different former head coaches NFL Franchisedied on Saturday. He was 74 years old.
The Chicago Bears confirmed their death. Jauron was like that BearHead coach from 1999 to 2003.
He had been diagnosed with cancer previously, reported Daily Items in Massachusetts.

He became the head coach of the Buffalo Bills in 2006. This was maintained until 2009. The following season, Jauron was selected as defensive backs coach under Andy Reed of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jauron was a two-sport star at Yale in the early 1970s, drafted by both the Detroit Lions in the NFL Draft and the St. Louis Cardinals in the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. He ultimately spent five seasons defensively in Detroit and three more seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals before retiring in 1980, eventually following football for the lifelong life.

The well-received Jaurong moved to coaching and was hired by the bill as a defensive back coach five years later. He went on to coach Green Bay’s defensive backs and became friends with Reid, who was a tight end coach on the assistant offensive line.
Jauron has only one win record in five seasons with the Bears, losing to the Eagles in the divisional round of the playoffs after winning the NFC North in 2001.
He finished with a 60-82 record and one playoff berth over part of his 10 seasons as head coach.

Jauron’s death came just two days after the bear announced his death Virginia Haras McCaskyHe inherited the franchise from his father, George Harras, and spent more than 40 years as the main owner.
