Kane pleased Bayern to return home from Celtic Park with a narrow lead.
Harry Kane was pleased with Bayern Munich’s performance and led Germany 2-1.
The Bundesliga Giants won a tough victory at Celtic Park, with Kane winning the ultimate winner.
It was a nervous start for the visitors as the visitors seemed 30 seconds behind, but the slow offside flags were saving them.
From there, Vincent Company’s side took control and scored just before halftime through Michael Oris.
Kane then doubled the advantage right after the break, pounding a sweet volley from the corners with his foot.
Celtic pulled one back late.
Speaking after the game, Kane said: “(Our performance) was fine. Whenever you win a game like this, it’s not an easy place, so you’re always happy.
“There was a realm of the game where I could do better.”

“The game definitely has done better, so we need to improve next week, but overall we scored at the right time.
“They were under pressure on us in the end and we had to be kept strong.
“We knew the atmosphere would help them at the start of the game, and they scored almost after a minute. We had to be patient, we had to go through the ball. I knew I had more. Sometimes opening a game like this requires a bit of special quality.”
Company added: “It’s cliché to say, but it’s the first half of the game, and overall, it’s a really great result.
“Fans are highly rated the importance of the game and the victory here, especially since they haven’t seen a lot of losses in Europe.
“We’re pretty decent at home too, so we’re trying to play about it as well, and we’ll switch focus to that because we have an important game on Saturday.
“I know this place. I know it transcends performance at times. We handled it really well for the long spells of the game, not letting the game go crazy I did. We had to protect for the last 10 minutes and we did it well.
“Of course, if the game is alive and alive, it’s a special place.”
