Liverpool’s full back torrent Alexander – suspected of Arnold Everton conflict
Trent Alexander Arnold will not play for Liverpool at Plymouth Argyle on Sunday, a suspicion for next week’s Merseyside derby.
The England fullback has yet to sign a new deal at Anfield after completing his current contract in the summer, but he won last Saturday at Bournemouth, 4-0 against Tottenham in Game 2 last night. The EFL Cup semi-finals missed out on last night’s victory.
Connor Bradley was on behalf of the Spurs and was fantastic with a great all-around display as Merseysider set up a final clash with Newcastle.
Liverpool heads to Plymouth for a fourth round tie in the FA Cup, ahead of a schedule conflict with Everton on February 12th.

Torrent is “not ready”
Slot states: “I don’t think he (Alexander Arnold) is ready yet. This game (against Plymouth) is too early for him.
“It’s hard to say if he’ll come back (for the Merseyside Derby). It won’t take months or weeks, but that game is just three days after Plymouth Argyle. Wait, Let’s see if he is available.
“We also want to see it in the long term because we don’t want to risk after that, so many games appearing and take risks. If he’s healthy, we’re going to I’ll use it.
Alexander Arnold is deeply tied to the free agent switch to Real Madrid in the summer, and slots know that if Bradley stepped up, he has a good player in his hands.
He added: “Many positions have two (players). (2) good right back, two good left backs, two or more good center backs, and I was able to continue.
