My first day 7 on the Galaxy Z Fold 7: This folding finally feels just right for me
Super Slim has a bit of irony Galaxy Z Fold 7. The generous 6.5 inch cover screen feels much more normal than what you’d see in previous versions of Samsung’s foldable versions, so despite that kind of point, it rarely uses an internal display to open the phone.
That’s not a bad thing. Rather, it is proof of how it works. Samsung Both displays were made practical and convenient. The cover screen doesn’t feel like a troublesome compromise anymore. Instead, it feels wonderful and normal.
This is mainly due to how slimmer Samsung has made the latest book style folding. Z fold 7 is 8.9mm thick when closed and 4.2mm thick when opened. It also weighs only 215 grams, which is impressive with its foldable style. it is, Find oppo n5, Huawei Mate x6 and Respect magic v3 – And put them outward with your hair.
The cover screen feels like it’s just the right size this time.
On my first day at Z fold 7, I used the cover screen to do everything from navigating New York City to taking photos and posting them on Instagram. When watching videos, multitasking, or multitasking, I chose the internal screen, such as surfing the web and streaming music. I like using a larger screen and feel more like a choice than a need.

Scaling compromise points
Just a month and a half ago, Samsung S25 EdgeIt also boasts a slim profile, although slightly thicker than the 5.8mm z-fold 7. The phone essentially sets a Z fold 7 stage and is surprised that it has become accustomed to the feather style factors of both phones. It’s hard to go back to anything else.
Like the S25 edge, the Z fold 7 is sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’s bent in my hands. It features Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 Covers and Victus 2 Backing. This makes you refusing to slap the case and add bulk, so don’t worry. I trekked through the concrete jungle of New York and threw the phone into my bag without too much worry about durability. I hope that confidence will be placed properly in the long run.
The thinness of the Z-fold 7 helps to feel wonderful and normal when closed.
The commonality between Samsung’s two skinny phones is their 200 megapixel main camera, Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Z fold 7 also features a 12-megapixel Ultra Wade and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera and a 10-megapixel selfie camera. This gives you some beautiful, vivid shots with balanced colors in both bright and dark settings. Here are some of my favorites:

I wielded the Morgan Library in New York to see how the phone was filmed with darker and more textured settings. I’m very pleased with the warmth and details of this.

The colorful contrast of the flowers against the dark New York sky is pleasantly punchy.
The trade-off to getting a nice picture is that the camera bumps are pretty noticeable and slightly spoil its overall slim design. But that’s a compromise I’m willing to accept.
The camera bump on the Z fold 7 is not too subtle, but the cost of getting three solid cameras.
Unlike the S25 Edge, which has just 3,900-MAH batteries, the Z fold 7 thankfully doesn’t compromise on battery capacity. It maintains 4,400 MAH from last year’s Z-fold 6. That means I spent the day without thinking about how long my phone would be. After 6 hours of regular use, the battery went completely 70% before putting the phone aside from Friette to return to San Francisco. If you have more time with Z fold 7, I look forward to running a more thorough battery test.
Multitasking is where the inner screen really shines.
Clear use cases
The Galaxy S25 Edge is a cool phone, but there are no obvious selling points beyond the neat factors. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 shows a more attractive pitch. Essentially put your phone and tablet in one without the heterogeneity of a hybrid device.
However, increasing the size of your phone will be the opposite of the price. The Z fold 7 costs a whopping $2,000. This follows a pattern of price increases of $100 over the past few years. The Z fold 6 cost $1,900, while the z fold 5 costs $1,800. This year’s folding people will need to determine whether they are willing to buy a slimmer phone, even if it means a much slimmer wallet.
But so far, the Z Fold 7 has done a decent job of proving its value, even when prices seem to be inflated. I sometimes need to remind myself.
