Pan am Legacy Travel Flights at a price tag of $60,000 for passengers

A trip to celebrate the heritage of Pan American World Airways Historic airline branding is underway after a chartered jet that aired early in the week.
The plane departed from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on Tuesday, launching a 12-day trip with passengers price tags of about $60,000. CBS New York reported.

Called “Pan am Journey with Private Air,” the trip will be offered as part of a collaboration with standard travel and Vertelling with licenses from Pan American World Airways.
According to a pamphlet on the Criterion Travel website, operators want to provide passengers with the opportunity to relive the “golden age” with a specially curated programme during their Pan am trip.

This trip features a Lie-Flat Business Class seat with a Boeing 757-200 Jet.
“Every details, from flight decks to cabins, are designed through care in honor of the golden age of travel, rethinking it for today’s world,” Pan Am brand said in a Facebook post.
Flight attendants working on the trip will wear uniforms that recreate what Pan Am staff wear when the airline is still operating, CBS New York reported.

“To step into this uniform is a great honor and privilege to step into this uniform,” a flight attendant named Anna Maria Aevarsdottir told the outlet. “We hope they can accept the grace that has shown America.”
