Patrick Mahomes’ grandfather is reportedly “hanging” in hospice care.
Patrick Mahomes is aiming to become the first quarterback in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls on Sunday. His grandfather Randysomeone who provides hospice care.
Mahomes’ mother, Randy Mahomesshared the news that Patrick’s grandfather was in Hospice Care on January 24th. It was a day before the quarterback won the Kansas City Chiefs over the Buffalo Bills.
Now, Randy says his father is “hanging” and hopes that Mahomes will lead another victory to the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday’s Super Bowl.

“I know that means a lot to him,” Randy said. “And I think he’s hanging out because he wants his grandson to do great things and just have him play.
“I mean, he must be a very proud grandpa. And my mother was so proud, and he was his other grandparents (too much).”
Randy added that one thing her father still remembers is the date and time of the Super Bowl.
Randy announced that her father was in the hospital in mid-September.

Randy told Fox News Digital that he was excited that his son will play while Trump watches on Sunday.
“I think that’s surprising to the president of our country in the United States,” she said. “I think it’s really nice to see the president be able to support the team, support the best sports in America, no matter who he is.
Fox’s Super Bowl coverage begins Sunday at 1pm, with the game kicking off at 6:30pm ET. The game can be streamed for free on Tubi.
