The mayor of Philadelphia warns Eagles fans with a post-Super Bowl lix attitude: “Don’t climb light poles or anything.”
Philadelphia Mayor Sherrell Parker warned Eagles fans to their fans Post Super Bowl LIX The celebration after the last one killed at least one person and several were injured in separate incidents.

She added that climbing in all sorts of structures and fixtures can “contribute to tragedy.”
Tyler Sabapathy, a 18-year-old Temple University student-athlete, died after falling off a pole and landing on his head, celebrating the Eagles’ NFC Championship victory, Philadelphia police said. At least three other people were injured when the driver drove into a pedestrian crowd after a playoff game at Lincoln Financial Field.
“The Philadelphia Police Department is falling into an all-in-hand approach to ensure everyone is safe,” Police Commissioner Kevin J. Bethel said Friday. “Our officers are ready to run through the city with all their might and make the festival run smoothly.”
