Josh Altman told Fox Business that he expects displaced residents to move to nearby cities, Orange County, Arizona and Las Vegas.
Celebrity Real Estate Agent Josh Altman has seen a huge surge in interest among Palisade residents in the Pacific Ocean who have been refuged in seven specific areas following the devastating fire last month.
In an interview with Fox Business, Altman explained that he receives multiple calls daily from families looking to travel to Santa Monica, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, Lower Bells, Newport Beach, Scottsdale and Las Vegas.
“Well, listen. Isn’t that what they move? I know they’re moving. It’s a closed deal. The first thing they’re looking at is Santa Monica and Brentwood. And I’m telling you, I’ve been receiving requests for Santa Monica and Brentwood every day for the past month,” Altman said.

“And the value bump was more aggressive than we were when we left Covid. The market in that market was amazing for real estate. We’re talking about a whole new landscape. ā

“And by the way, comps can forget comps. Comps don’t exist anymore. If it’s not this New Year’s Comp, it’s not a comp. So we’re a new market, sort of navigating.” He continued.

Altman told Fox Business that he spoke to someone who shared that Newport Beach Public Schools had received 76 new applicants from families in Los Angeles. firein the last 10 days alone.
Real estate agents explained that it is too early to know if these moves are permanent, but that they shared that families are looking for stability for their children.
